Applesauce

On Friday, we made applesauce! First, we sorted the apples by color. Then we graphed how many of each color we had. We worked as a team to peal the apples, cut the apples and make the applesauce.

Thank you to all our families who sent in apples! It was so fun and tasted delicious 🍏🍎

Sept. 16-20

On Wednesday we had a reader's theater play.

 On Friday, we learned about how to use our Ipads in Kindergarten. We talked about how to safely carry them, how to use our headphones and how to navigate the different apps. Then we were able to listen to books using Epic!

September 9-13

Last week we talked about bus safety. We had bus evacuation on Tuesday and discussed the rules for riding the bus. 

On Wednesday, Mr. Mahal, our principal, came and read a story to us. He talked about how each of us in unique in our own way and we should be proud to be who we are!

It was an exciting day for 2 friends on Thursday. Thursday morning two friends lost a tooth!!

Humpty Dumpy

Today we learned about Humpty Dumpty. We read the story After the Fall, sequenced the story of Humpty Dumpty and made a Humpty Dumpty puzzle. With our buddies this morning we had a challenge activity. They needed to work with their buddies and build a wall for an egg to sit on and not fall off. We had a ton of fun being creative!

Spiders

We read and sang the nursery rhymes Itsy Bitsy Spider and Little Miss Muffet. We graphed who is scared of spiders and who isn't and then we made spider hats!

3rd Grade Buddies

Last week we met our 3rd grade buddies. We will get together with them about once a week. Sometimes we will read together, sometimes we'll do projects together and other times we'll play!
