Letter Z

Today we learned our last letter: Z. The uppercase and lowercase Z are written by saying: slide right, slant left, slide right. Some of these letters have helped us learn our right and left directions!!

Letter Y

The uppercase and lowercase Y's are different and that can be hard for some kiddos to remember. The uppercase Y is a slant right, slant left, pull down to the bottom. The lowercase y is a slant right, slant left to the bottom. What sound does Y make?

Letter X

Everyone loves the letter X! Slant right, lift, slant left. We write the uppercase and lowercase X the same way. Sometimes the sound can be tricky. Ask your child what sound X says....

Letter W

Today we learned the uppercase and lowercase W. Both are written the same: slant right, slant up, slant right, slant up.

Letter V

We learned the uppercase and lowercase V today. They are both written the same: slant right, slant up. See if your child can tell you the sound V makes and something that begins with V.
