This morning we had a guest reader... Mr. Mahal, our Principal.

We had our first media lesson with Mrs. Waltman. We talked about being safe while using the internet. Then we visited the San Diego Zoo!

Happy Birthday MaKenzie!

Kristy Nelson: Hello! My name is Kristy Nelson and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my eleventh year teaching kindergarten. I grew up in Coon Rapids, MN with my mom, dad and younger sister. I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Special Education minor. In 2019, I graduated from Southwest State with my Masters Degree. I live here in Albert Lea with my husband, Trevor and our 5 year old daughter, Ellie and 3 year old son, Waylon. My hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, seeing movies, hanging out with friends and family but mostly playing with our kids. Welcome to Kindergarten! It's going to be a great year!!!
