Thank you to all the families that came out this morning for Green Eggs and Ham breakfast! It was such a fun event! 

This afternoon we made some green eggs and wrote about where we would eat them!

This morning we went to watch the 4th grade and 5th grade music concert. Their theme was summer camp! It was sure nice thinking about warmer weather! It's always fun to watch siblings and friends perform. They all did a great job!

In like a lion or a lamb??

Yesterday we made predictions about whether March was going to come in like a lion or a lamb. We voted and 17 people thought the day was going to be calm like a lamb and 2 people thought it would be rough/windy like a lion. This morning we made the decision the day was more like a lamb than a lion.

Field Trip

Today we rode a bus to Albert Lea High School to see a play put on by the drama department at Mankato State University. The play was called The Visitors From the Planet Bop! The message was about not worrying about looking and sounding like everyone else. Be proud of who you are and being different is just fine! The singing and dancing was so much fun to watch. We had a great time!

Valentine's Day

Thursday morning we had some guest readers. The Albert Lea Wrestlers came and read us a story. Then we got to ask them some questions about high school and sports! Thanks for visiting!

 Party Time!

 Races with candy hearts on spoons! Everyone tried their best and were really good sports.

Media Lesson

We had a super fun media lesson today with Mrs. Waltman. First we colored our special picture of a penguin. Then using the app Quiver, we brought the penguin to life.

100th day and Groundhog's Day

 We had fun celebrating the 100th day of school, 

even though it was a few days late!

 Staff vs 5th graders basketball challenge.... Staff won 100 to 94. Way to go everyone!!!
