Counting Collections

For math we practiced counting 1-6 objects. Each table had something different to count. One to one counting is so important! It helps us learn to count and count correctly. This is something you could do at home too!

Yesterday we met Ms Dixcie, our librarian and Mrs. Waltman, our media specialists. We learned about how to check out books!

Math Game

Today we learned a partner math game. We needed to make a match with the number and the correct number of dots on ten frames. We played the game "memory style" so every time we turned two cards over, we needed to pay close attention so we could remember where each card was. During this game we also practiced sharing and taking turns.
