Field Trip to see a Play

Today all Kindergartners and 1st graders in the district went to Albert Lea High School to see a play put on for us from the Mankato State University Theater Group. The play was "The Bluebirds Secret". It told the story of five young explorers pursuing the secret to happiness.  The secret was carefully protected by an elusive Bluebird and her clumsy penguin sidekick.  Along their journey the explorers must journey through great mountains, murky swamps and a deep forest, all the while learning to work as a team, and learn the secret to happiness. "The Bluebird's Secret" teaches children that working together is the key to success, and that patience pays off! We had a great time! Thank you PTO for helping our kindergartners and 1st graders go see the play!
